The FA22RCZ is an 8-inch full-range driver built for high efficiency and clear, detailed sound reproduction. It uses a papyrus fiber-reinforced paper cone with a whizzer cone for extended high-frequency performance. A foam rubber surround and fabric spider ensure smooth, controlled movement with low energy loss. A ferrite magnet system with a copper-capped pole piece provides stable operation and low distortion, while the rigid zinc chassis minimizes resonance and airflow noise.

Oomph Oak Speakers

Oomph Speakers is our expressive, rhythm-driven loudspeaker — engineered to deliver a deep, dynamic, and emotionally engaging presentation far beyond its size. Built around craftsmanship, material honesty, and acoustic precision, Oomph brings energy, texture, and musical presence into every listening session.

The design philosophy behind Wallop Turntable and Punch Turntable continues in Oomph. Every material and structural element is selected to control resonance and reduce unwanted vibration. The internal framework is built primarily from birch laminate, while the outer cabinet is crafted from solid oak. The front baffle is made from Valchromat — a dense wood-composite material chosen for its acoustic stability and controlled damping characteristics.

Oomph is built around a dominant main driver, tuned to deliver speed, body, and natural timing across the musical spectrum. The lowest frequencies are shaped through a downward-firing transmission design, where sound is guided into a lower chamber before dispersing into the room through the gap between the cabinet sections. The result is a bass presentation that feels both deep and controlled, without overwhelming the room.

The upper enclosure houses Oopsizzle Ribbon Tweeter — currently available as an add-on — adding air, precision, and shimmer to the highest frequencies while complementing the weight and rhythmic foundation of the main driver.

Despite its bold and physical presentation, Oomph remains easy to drive. It does not require excessive amplifier power to create a large, open soundstage with strong rhythmic flow and musical authority.

The Oomph Loudspeaker is built around a trombone-inspired transmission line architecture, designed to guide and control airflow in a natural, musical way. The structure is mechanically tunable, allowing the acoustic response to be refined with precision. Placement

Despite its advanced acoustic structure, Oomph is exceptionally easy to position in real environments. The unique spherical bass reflex design distributes energy more evenly into the room, reducing sensitivity to placement and allowing the speaker to perform consistently across a wide range of spaces. This makes it unusually forgiving without compromising performance.

Where are Oops Audio products manufactured?

All Oops Audio products are handcrafted in Sweden at the Onslunda Carpentry Shop. Each component is carefully produced using traditional woodworking skills combined with modern acoustic engineering. By keeping production local, we maintain full control over materials, craftsmanship, and sound quality—ensuring every product reflects the character and precision we stand for.

Is the wood in your products traceable and responsibly sourced?

Yes. Every piece of wood used in Oops Audio products is individually selected and geotagged, allowing us to trace its origin with precision.

We work exclusively with responsibly sourced timber from naturally fallen or carefully managed forests. We do not harvest trees solely for the purpose of producing our turntables or audio components. Instead, we focus on using wood that already exists within responsible forestry cycles.

Each wooden element is chosen not only for its visual character, but also for its acoustic properties and long-term stability. This careful selection process ensures that every product carries a unique natural identity while respecting the forests it comes from.
